"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

But I dug out my halloween decorations and casually plugged in one lonely pumpkin statue of three smiling friends in the corner of the breakfast nook. I left them on the whole day, watching TV and milling around laundry, finally dusk came around with visitors and the pumpkins glowed nicely in the dim light. Their jack-o-lantern faces making fall seem even more present with the dying leaves of orange, red and yellow.
The temperture outside has greatly dropped since fall hit. The trees and animals have responded on que and why not pull out the pumpkins. October is that awsome month that really gets you in the true spirit, getting ready for winter, bundling up in scarves and jackets, chucky-knits and toques. By the end of this month, we'll be seeing our breath and be hurring around in the crisp fall air.
I can't wait for Halloween. I always hallow out my pumpkins a day or so before all hallows eve. Saving the pumpkin seeds and baking them in the oven as I cut out the jack-o-lantern. I'm usually left alone to my own devices. Carving up to 4 pumpkins alone as my husband works. This will be my last year alone though. Next year Halloween will mean even more with my little bun-bun born and staying with me to decorate and learn to carve. Though I'm sure she'll be more likely to just watch only being 7 months old.
But anyway... Halloween is one of my favorite days. Every hour of that day I utilise. Finishing decorating, setting up my porch. The jack-o-lanterns line up outside on my patio. Staying fresh and crisp in the air. Their faces not wilting or shiveling. I think they almost know it's their day as I stare out the back door at them.
Not only is the night but the day, it's always so quiet and crisp. It has the frothy air of the smell of pumpkins and candels and it's like even before their lit, hours before some are even all hallowed out, the air smells like them. It's like Halloween rolls in and takes over for that one day with true purpose. Then dusk starts to roll around, as the afternoon loses light. The sky gets that pumpkin and black color as the sun starts to set.
I pull my pumpkins off the back patio, off the cold cement and trugged them inside and sick a nice thick candel in them. Then take them to their new home for the next 6 hours. My front porch.
Their faces lit. Lighting the way up the narrow steps and illuminating the cobwebs and extra halloween decore.
The bushes hide skeletons and rubber rats. The tombstones stick out on the lawn and the bare oak tree bares little white ghosts and orange pumpkin lights. That glow with an erie feel from down the block.
Then the clock strikes about 5.30pm. I start to watch the trick or treaters wind up the way. Their bellies full of supper, giving them plenty of energy for the coming hours.I get my first knock and first "trick or treat". I open the door with offering of hurshies and crispycrunchies. They thank me and hurry off.
Thank you so much! It was such a weird day, i looked outside my window and went insane, running out into da rain to take them. Looked like the sky was on fire! hehe... tiss was fun!
Thanks again! Peace!
